How quickly do shifting sand dunes actually move? What is the secret of high and low tides? How do birds survive hurricanes? You can find the answers to these and many other interesting questions about the forces of nature in this newly opened adventure centre in List harbour. The centre has over 1500 sq m exhibition space and an 800 sq m open-air section where visitors can learn a great deal about the three main topics of “The Forces of the North Sea”, “Living with the Forces of Nature” and “Climate, Weather, Climate Research” in an entertaining, emotional und interactive manner.
