The seas meet here at the south and of the island, resulting in massive erosion of the sand. Take a wonderful walking tour which will take you around the tip of the island in about 1 ¾ hours. A guided tour run by the "Schutzstation Wattenmeer" nature information centre will give you a lot of background information about the Wattenmeer mudflats and its fauna and flora.
